EIOPA LTGA - June 2013

On 14 June 2013 EIOPA published the results of the Long Term Guarantee Assessment. The report and related appendices are available here on the EIOPA website.

EIOPA Consultation Papers - Closed Consultations

Consultation on Equivalence

EIOPA published three consulation papers relating to the equivalence assessments of the Swiss, Bermudan and Japanese supervisory regimes. The papers are available to view or download from the EIOPA website here and the closing date for submission of comments was 23rd September 2011.

Consultation on the Solvency II XBRL Taxonomy

In late July 2011, EIOPA published a consultation paper on the proposed Solvency II XBRL Taxonomy for use in the transmission of Quantitative Reporting Templates. The consultation paper and other relevant documents are available to download here. The closing date for responses was 7th September 2011.


European Commission Consultation Paper on the Level 2 Implementing Measures for Solvency II

The Commission published a consultation paper on the Level 2 Implementing Measures for Solvency II.  The consultation sought views on the:

  • potential impacts that these policy decisions could have on the pricing, design and availability if insurance products;
  • the corresponding effects for consumers;and
  • the wider social or economic impacts.

The deadline for responses was 26th January 2011.
