Securities Markets

Date: 02 February 2021

Recognising the challenges faced by firms and market participants as a result of the COVID-19 crisis, in April last year, the Central Bank communicated that it would allow a level of flexibility for regulated firms in certain specified areas. On 2 February 2021, the Central Bank updated its communication on this, in particular, to remove measures that have expired on their terms, or that are now addressed elsewhere in the Central Bank’s Markets Update.
