Central Bank Joins Culture Night

Culture Night 2017The Central Bank of Ireland is delighted to be participating in Culture Night 2017 on Friday 22 September.

Culture Night sees venues and public spaces across the island of Ireland open their doors to host a programme of free late-night entertainment, as part of a celebration of arts, heritage and culture.

This will be the Central Bank's first participation in the event and comes since we moved to our new building on North Wall Quay.

A range of activities are set to take place in our Visitor Centre, including music, films and a display of a variety of items from the Central Bank Archive

There will also be a short presentation/film from Irish artist Niamh Barry who designed the light sculpture in the reception area of our new building.

Additionally, visitors will be able to view four paintings from our art collection not usually on display to the public.

The paintings are by the Irish artists Jack B. Yeats, Mary Swanzy, Paul Henry and Carey Clarke.

Please note: Visitors can only visit the Central Bank as part of Culture night by pre-registering online using the registration link below. However pre-registering does not guarantee entry, and there will not be a tour of the building as part of the event. An email confirmation will be sent to those who have been allocated a ticket to attend.
