Learning & Development Centre launched at our Dockland Campus

Central Bank's Learning & Development Centre

On Monday 22 May 2017 Sharon Donnery, Deputy Governor (Central Banking) officially opened the Central Bank’s new Learning and Development Centre (L&D Centre) at our Dockland Campus.

The new centre will support staff at the Central Bank to undertake further professional qualifications and enhance their skills, knowledge and expertise.

The centre comprises three classroom-style training rooms and a computer training room, as well as two breakout rooms and a quiet study area.

Speaking at the opening of the Centre, Ms Donnery said: “Learning and development is of crucial importance to the Central Bank. As a knowledge-based organisation, our success is directly reliant on the competence of our people. For this reason, ‘People and Knowledge’ has been identified as one of our three key strategic enablers in achieving the Central Bank’s mission. In this context, by enabling our staff to perform at a high standard, the new L&D centre will support our organisation in delivering on its mission of ‘safeguarding stability, protecting consumers’.”
