The Central Bank of Ireland has worked with financial service providers during the period 2017-2020 to ensure that they had plans in place to minimise the effect of the UK’s withdrawal on consumers. The Central Bank continues to work to mitigate the risks posed to the economy, consumers, the financial system and the regulatory environment. We are also working to ensure that financial service providers plan to minimise the effect on consumers.
