General Counsel role
The Central Bank of Ireland is responsible for both Central Banking and Financial Regulation. Our activities are embodied in our mission “Safeguarding Stability and Protecting Consumers.”
The Central Bank of Ireland is recruiting for the position of General Counsel, which will report to the Director of Resolution and Corporate Affairs. This is a key role within the Central Bank of Ireland and will entail the provision of expert legal advice to the Governor, Commission, Deputy Governors (Central Banking and Financial Regulation), Chief Operating Officer and all related directorates and divisions within the Central Bank. The successful candidate will also represent the Central Bank as a legal expert in international and domestic fora, including participation in pan-European committees and working groups.This role is for a fixed term period of five years.
