Irish Language Scheme

The Official Languages Act 2003 (the Act) provides a statutory framework for improvements in the delivery of public services through Irish.

The Central Bank's third language scheme has been confirmed by the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht. It commenced with effect from 8 April 2019 and shall remain in force for a period of three years or until a new scheme has been confirmed, whichever is the later.
