How to engage with the Innovation Hub
The application process consists of the following steps:
Step 1: Your submission
Submit an engagement form and any supporting documentation to: innovation@centralbank.ie
Step 2: Central Bank assessment
We will assess your request against the eligibility criteria and will endeavour to provide a response to you within five working days.
Step 3: Central Bank response
Our response may include one or more of the following:
1. We need more information from you
a. More information is needed to assess your request
b. We will email you to request this information
c. Once the information is provided, the assessment will continue
2. Your request does not meet our criteria
a. We will provide an explanation and refer you to any relevant Central Bank guidance that may support you moving forward
3. Meets criteria
a. Your request is eligible for engagement with the Innovation Hub
b. We will arrange a meeting with you within two to three weeks from making your request, subject to availability.
Step 4: Meeting
Once your information has been reviewed, you will be invited to meet the Innovation Hub team. The purpose of the meeting will be to either:
- Go through your information in more detail and get a better sense of what you are looking to achieve from engaging with the Central Bank
or
- Provide specific information relevant to your request
Based on the context of your request, and other factors (such as stage of development of your innovation), it may be necessary to have a number of meetings so that we can provide you with the necessary information.
Use of data
Central Bank of Ireland will not share your information with any external party, and your information will be held securely and in the strictest confidence.
