ESMA advises EC on the supervisory regime for third-country CCPs

On 11 November 2019, the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), the EU’s securities markets regulator, published three sets of technical advice to the European Commission (EC) regarding third-country central counterparties (TC-CCPs) under the revised European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR 2.2).
