The Central Bank’s Role as Registrar for Irish Government Bonds and Treasury Bills

The Central Bank of Ireland (the Central Bank) is responsible for the maintenance of the Register of Irish Government Bonds and Treasury Bills on behalf of the National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA). This role includes acting as Registrar in addition to effecting dividend and redemption payments to account holders of bonds issued on the domestic market by the NTMA.
