Yvonne, Head of our Climate Change Unit, has always been fascinated by scientific research. When the opportunity arose to lead the Climate Change Unit, it meant she could have an impact on this critical issue beyond her own individual actions.

Flexible working

Eoin, a Data Analyst, has become a father since he joined the Central Bank. He discusses how flexibility at work has enabled him to spend some quality time with his young kids.

Francesca, joint Head of Enforcement Investigations, was drawn to this senior, job-sharing role at the Central Bank as it enabled her to build on her experience of working in regulation while also allowing her to spend more time with her family.

Women in Tech

Louise, Chief Information Officer, reveals that she caught the bug for computer programming at a young age after doing a night course in computing as a teenager. After 20 years working in insurance and financial services, she joined the Central Bank where she has found a very strong collegiate culture, with a focus on growing people’s skills and life-long learning.

Tony, a Senior Solutions Architect, reflects on his career at Central Bank of Ireland and how his colleagues and the wider Central Bank community has helped him to thrive in his role.
