The Central Bank of Ireland is delighted to be returning to the National Ploughing Championships in 2018 as we mark our 75 years of public service, for what promises to be another memorable year.

At this year’s exhibition we’ll be talking about key aspects of our work through information stands and interactive games suitable for people of all ages.

Central Bank staff, including members of the senior team, will be on hand to answer questions on topics such as how Brexit might affect the economy and how we protect borrowers and savers.

The Central Bank’s Central Credit Register (CCR) team will be in attendance where they’ll be explaining more about the CCR and how members of the public can access their credit reports.

The European Central Bank will also be joining us this year, and visitors will get a first look at their new travelling exhibition.

For the little ones, we have a fully supplied art station, where burgeoning artists can try their hand at designing their very own coins!

We will also be running a selfie competition via Twitter, with a prize for the best picture.
