From Monday 18 September, our Visitor Centre will host a very special and unique artistic experience. Inner Light, a project coordinated by the Irish Red Cross, Fighting Words, and Ukrainian Action in Ireland, is a unified gesture of solidarity in support of the millions who have been forced to flee the still-unfolding humanitarian crisis in Ukraine.
The exhibition features stories from a remarkable group of Ukrainian women who have come to Ireland as a result of the war. Their stories are accompanied by a collection of images by photographer Alan Compton.
Please take some time and drop into the Visitor Centre from Monday to Thursday to experience the exhibition for yourself and understand the personal impact of the war on those living through it. On Wednesday 27th at 11.30 am we will host a special event where contributors to the photos will read excerpts from their inspiring stories.
