A meeting of the Financial Industry Forum Innovation Subgroup will take place in the Central Bank on 10 October. The purpose of this Subgroup is to facilitate strategic dialogue between the Central Bank and the financial sector on the ongoing enhancement of innovation in the financial system. The Innovation Subgroup considers the roles for all financial system participants, while having regard to addressing emerging risks and realising potential benefits. It is one of 3 subgroups established by the Financial Industry Forum (also including domestic and international focused sub-groups) to facilitate more granular policy-discussions.
