Outcome of Consultation
From 10 December 2018 through 11 March 2019, the Central Bank carried out a public consultation (CP 127) regarding amendments to the Prospectus Rules and their consolidation into forthcoming Central Bank (Investment Market Conduct) Rules (the IMC Rules). These amendments were proposed in light of the changes to the Irish prospectus regime arising from the application of the Prospectus Regulation from 21 July 2019.
The Central Bank did not receive any feedback on this consultation and therefore will not publish a Feedback Statement to CP127.
The Central Bank will proceed with the amendments consulted on, subject to minor changes for consistency purposes, and to consolidate the Prospectus Rules into the IMC Rules.
