The European Union (Markets in Financial Instruments) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2026 (S.I. No. 81 of 2026) was published on 5 March 2026, reflecting an amendment to client asset provisions contained in Paragraphs 1(3) and (4) of Schedule 3 to the European Union (Markets in Financial Instruments) Regulations 2017 (S.I. No. 375 of 2017). The amended provisions will come into force on 31 August 2026.
