Short Selling Regulation: New requirements for entities registering with the Central Bank - European Single Access Point (ESAP)

ESAP

Date: 03 July 2026

From 10 July 2026, for position holders registering with the Central Bank for the purpose of reporting net short positions, new requirements have been introduced, which include new mandatory fields in our registration template. This is to facilitate the entry into force of Article 11a of the Short Selling Regulation as part of the implementation of the European Single Access Point (ESAP).

Prospective reporting entities under Short Selling Regulation are advised to familiarise themselves with these changes.
