Investment Brokers / Intermediaries

Investment Brokers / Intermediaries must be authorised under the Investment Intermediaries Act 1995 (as amended) if they:

  • Act as a deposit agent/broker
  • Advise on investment products
  • Receive and transmit orders in investment instruments on behalf of consumers to other financial service providers (e.g. Banks, Insurance Companies, Investment Managers)

It is an offence to engage in any activity outlined above without being authorised by the Central Bank.
