Opportunity for finance professionals to improve knowledge of regulatory requirements

The Central Bank is hosting a roadshow information event for Retail Intermediaries and related representative bodies on Tuesday 7 November in Athlone. The event is taking place from 9.30am to 1pm in the Sheraton Athlone Hotel.

The Athlone Roadshow will provide a good opportunity for Retail Intermediaries, based outside of Dublin to obtain information on a variety of relevant topics.

The event will include a series of presentations from Central Bank officials followed by an opportunity for questions and answers. The topics being covered include:

• Policy Updates from the Central Bank
• Anti-Money Laundering
• Unauthorised Providers
• Fitness & Probity
• Authorisations
• Enforcement
• Funding

Presentation slides will be made available on the Central Bank website after these events. There will be tea and coffee for attendees on arrival at 9:30am, with presentations commencing at 10am.

There will also be a similar roadshow event held in the Clayton Hotel, Liffey Valley, Dublin on 6 November.
