| Authorisation in Ireland | This scam entity cloned the name and details of a firm authorised by the Central Bank and has been seeking to pass itself off as the legitimate firm, HSBC Continental Europe, in order to deceive consumers. Additionally, the scam entity has cloned the Central Bank authorisation number CBI00001421, which is legitimately assigned to Cowan Insurance Brokers Limited. There is no connection between Cowan Insurance Brokers Limited and this fraudulent entity. |
