| Additional information | The firm cloned the details of an EU authorised firm and has been seeking to pass itself off as the legitimate firm, Younited Credit Group T/A Younited Credit (ACPR authorised REGAFI identifier 13156), in order to deceive consumers. It should be noted there is no connection whatsoever between the legitimate firm Younited Credit Group regulated by Banque de France and which passports its services into Ireland on an EEA cross-border basis and the person/s purporting to represent an unauthorised firm called “Younited Credit Limited”. This scam is an example of an ‘advanced fee fraud’, where a payment is sought upfront prior to providing a loan. The loans are never provided. If you are contacted by someone claiming to represent a regulated entity, do not provide any personal information to that person and make contact with the regulated entity through their publicly available contact details to ensure that you are dealing with a legitimate entity. |
