Countercyclical Capital Buffer maintained at 0 per cent

The Central Bank of Ireland today maintained the Countercyclical Capital Buffer (CCB) rate at 0 per cent.

The CCB tool is part of the Central Bank of Ireland’s macro-prudential policy framework.
The rate is set quarterly and is designed to make the banking system more resilient and less pro-cyclical.
